Rike Park is a public recreation area of the city, popular with families especially in summer. It sits on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, under the gaze of the Presidential Palace. The park is easy to access from the Old City via the glass and steel pedestrian Peace Bridge.

Narikala Fortress overlooking the old part of the city and the banks of the Mtkvari River stands proudly on a hill as a sentinel of Tbilisi. Climb up on the fortress or ride a cable car to enjoy panoramic views over the old city.

Fed by naturally hot mineral waters the sulfur baths have been an essential part of life in Tbilisi for centuries. The brick-domed underground baths were built in the 17th century and produce 3 million liters of water every day. To make your visit complete, make sure to have the invigorating massage. High in sulfur and other minerals, with a constant temperature of 38oC to 40oC, the water have long been used as a therapeutic aid for a range of illnesses including skin conditions and arthritis.

It is hard to imagine that next to the bustling Old part of Tbilisi, within just several meters from the Sulfur Baths houses you can discover Legvakhevi gorge free from city noise, nice place to relax. Only noise you can hear in the gorge is sound of waterfall flowing from over 20 miters height making the gorge cool and pleasant especially during summer days.

Rustaveli Avenue is the central avenue in Tbilisi named after the medieval Georgian poet, Shota Rustaveli. It is often considered the main thoroughfare of the city due to a large number of governmental, public, cultural, and business buildings that are located along or near the avenue.

Newly reconstructed Agmashenebeli Avenue with its boutique cafes, wine bars and galleries offer nice atmosphere for the city guests to walk and spend time pleasantly. The avenue is a favorite place for locals and foreigners alike.

Climbing Tbilisi’s cobblestone paths, seeing mountain ridges curve all the way to the horizon, it is almost impossible to imagine a sea somewhere nearby: but in fact there is one. Right behind the pile of black rock commonly known as Chronicles of Georgia monument lies a reservoir known as the Tbilisi Sea, opening up into a breath-taking view of both the Sea and some parts of the city. Drive around the reservoir or find some place close to shore to relax and enjoy the landscape.

Mtatsminda Park is an amusement facility located on the top of the mountain of the same name. It is the highest point in Tbilisi offering various attractions such as carousels, water slides, a roller-coaster, and a big Ferris Wheel at the edge of the mountain with a splendid view over the city. You can find a fancy restaurant here and spend pleasant evening.

After sightseeing it is time for shopping, so here are some recommendations where to head to in order to find some international brands or stores of local designers and Georgian craftwork and souvenirs. There are two shopping malls in Tbilisi - East Point and Tbilisi Mall. A shopping gallery, Merani, can be found right on Rustaveli Avenue, and you'll also find shops and among them ones of Georgian designers sprinkled around Freedom Square and the Vake area, Rustaveli and Agmashenebeli Avenues, Kote Abkhazi and Pekini Streets.

Authentic and very specific to the country, Georgian cuisine is the natural extension of a rich landscape – fed by the pure waters of the Caucasus Mountains. The cuisine offers a variety of dishes, high in herbs and spices and mix of vegetarian and meet dishes. Boutique cafes and fancy restaurants in Tbilisi and other destinations offer traditional Georgian as well as international cuisine.
