Sulfur Baths

Fed by naturally hot mineral waters the sulfur baths have been an essential part of life in Tbilisi for centuries. The brick-domed underground baths were built in the 17th century and produce 3 million liters of water every day. To make your visit complete, make sure to have the invigorating massage. High in sulfur and other minerals, with a constant temperature of 38oC to 40oC, the water have long been used as a therapeutic aid for a range of illnesses including skin conditions and arthritis.

Tbilisi Botanical Garden

Founded in the XVII century, formerly royal garden and nowadays Tbilisi Botanical Garden is open to its visitors to offer nice trails to walk and spectacular waterfall. Here you can find Japanese garden as well.

Narikala Fortress

Narikala Fortress overlooking the old part of the city and the banks of the Mtkvari River stands proudly on a hill as a sentinel of Tbilisi. Climb up on the fortress or ride a cable car to enjoy panoramic views over the old city.

Rike Park

Rike Park is a public recreation area of the city, popular with families especially in summer. It sits on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, under the gaze of the Presidential Palace. The park is easy to access from the Old City via the glass and steel pedestrian Peace Bridge.

Open Air Museum of Ethnography

Open Air Museum encompasses 14 ethnographic zones and houses more than eight thousand artifacts brought from all over Georgia. The museum frequently hosts folk exhibitions and festivals.

Mtatsminda Park

Mtatsminda Park is an amusement facility located on the top of the mountain of the same name. It is the highest point in Tbilisi offering various attractions such as carousels, water slides, a roller-coaster, and a big Ferris Wheel at the edge of the mountain with a splendid view over the city. You can find a fancy restaurant here and spend pleasant evening.

Departure to Racha

Racha is a special, completely unspoiled and beautiful place high in the mountains, boasting a landscape of mountain forests and high alpine meadows. For visitors to the region, Racha is a giant outdoor playground. With raging rivers, the region is popular among anglers and rafters, as well as hikers. Racha boasts with remarkable cultural treasures - churches and monasteries dating back to the middle ages.

Shaori Lake

Shaori is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Georgia that welcomes visitors to the region of Racha as it is located near the border or Racha and Imereti regions. Its setting is picturesque surrounded by coniferous and deciduous forest with the impressive Caucasus Range on the background. It is a favorite place for fishing, swimming and tanning.

Nikortsminda

The church of St. Nicholas at Nikotstminda was built during the 11th century. It is the most richly ornamented church in Georgia. It is a central domes church. Frescoes painted on the church walls date to the 16th – 17th centuries.

Oni Synagogue

Oni Synagogue is the third largest Shul in the country. White limestone was used as construction material. The building is square in shape. The Star of David adorns dome of the Shul facing the East. During 1930s the Soviet authority attempted to bring down the Synagogue but Jewish community mainly women with their babies in cradles occupied the building thus preventing it from destroying.
The Synagogue has recently been renovated.

Day trip to Shovi

Resort Shovi

Shovi is one of the most beautiful resorts of Georgia. Visitors enjoy its mountain climate, nature and mineral waters. The resort is located at the base of the Mamisoni Mountain Range and is surrounded by snowy mountains.

9 Jvari Shrine

9 jvari (literally meaning 9 crosses) is a shrine right on the border between Racha and Imereti regions. Located at an elevation of 1500 m it is place that offers one of the most breathtaking views on the Imereti region. One needs good hiking skills to reach the shine as it is located on a cliff.
